Posner Advertising “Cracks The Code” In Real Estate Marketing With Innovative Website and Database Technologies

First-ever search engine-friendly Flash 7 design, scheduling system database technology benefits clients AvalonBay Communities and Paramount Homes

NEW YORK, NY (July 26, 2005) - Full service agency Posner Advertising has revealed two important technological advances that are rapidly transforming the real estate buying experience into something more efficient, dynamic and visually exciting. For New York City’s Avalon Chrystie Place, a ground-breaking, first-ever combination of Flash and search engine optimization in a website was developed. The other, for Paramount Homes’ North Beach Asbury Park in New Jersey, employs database technology that allows consumers to schedule sales appointments online to ensure accuracy and fairness while reducing phone time.

Until now, websites designed in Flash typically could not be found efficiently through search engines. In fact, many tech experts dismiss the idea of an SEO-compatible Flash design. Yet, Posner Advertising did just that for www.avalonchrystieplace.com, the website for AvalonBay Communities’ first luxury rental community in Manhattan.

“Let everyone else say it can’t be done,” said Ross Anderson, Managing Director, Interactive Services, Posner Advertising. “We had an idea and a client that is always looking to push the envelope with technology. With Avalon Chrystie Place, we’ve blended the visual excitement of Flash with search engine compatibility on Google and other sites.”

According to Anderson, the agency’s fresh concept was developed to be W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) accessible, which greatly increases a search engine’s ability to index site content. The web site identifies what type of user the visitor is (web browser, search engine robot, mobile device) and will display the site content in an accessible format.

Posner Advertising is currently developing a guideline of standards for how Flash-designed websites can be compatible with search engines. It will be posted to www.posneradv.com.

Paramount Homes, which is building North Beach Asbury Park, the first condominium community of the ambitious waterfront revitalization in Asbury Park, NJ, needed web-based tools to manage demand from what turned out to be 3,000 prospective buyers. While most real estate websites function as online brochures, Posner Advertising developed an online system that scheduled and kept track of more than 15 daily appointments, fairly and efficiently. The system allows potential buyers to email a series of schedule preferences directly through the site. In turn, the system contacts them by email without telephone contact, unless specified. The information is stored in Paramount’s sales database. Since the initial sales launch on June 1, Paramount has sold most of the first 48 available North Beach homes. They are scheduling appointments with the remaining VIP buyers for the other two available buildings.

“The real estate industry is rapidly realizing that innovative technology can make the interactive experience better for both buyers and sellers,” said Bob Posner, principal, Posner Advertising. “That’s one reason why so many of the industry’s top names have recently become Posner Advertising clients.”
