Charged with maintaining Newport, Rhode Island's great mansions and their magnificent furnishings, The Society launched a money-raising campaign by engaging the most qualified and respected vendors, all of whom created reproductions of selected furniture, fabrics, and decorative pieces, which were then offered for sale.
Posner Advertising developed materials to introduce the concept to the press, the public and designers. Showroom literature for pre-selling was devised to be consistent with the quality and heritage of the originals. A collateral package included a logo for the new line of reproductions, a presentation kit, 4-color brochure, and stationery. The launch was very successful, and helped achieve The Society's objectives for the campaign.
